Bill has a long career in art as both an art educator and full time artist. After graduating from Utah State with a degree in fine art, Bill began a long career as a high school art teacher at Cottonwood High, where he taught a range of art topics and was closely involved with student art groups including the production of Cottonwood High’s famous musicals, focusing on set design and development. After retiring, Bill began a full time career as an artist and his work has been featured in many shows, including SLCC President’s Show, the Eccles Gallery at SLCC, Sotheby’s 9th & 9th and most recently a solo show at the Marmalade Branch of the SL Library. When not painting, Bill continues to teach art with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and is on the Salt Lake County art acquisition board. His art can be found in many private and public collections.
