Mary Tull is a mixed media painter and art activist. Now recently retired as director of the University of Utah’s Taft Nicholson Environmental Humanities Center, she can be found in her Emigration Canyon studio.  Her support of the arts has ranged from establishing artist in residence programs, to serving as director of the Leonardo on Library Square where she worked with her team to design, develop, and provide initial funding for a new concept museum integrating the arts, sciences, and technology. In 2002 Mary provided the leadership to create a celebrated juried exhibit, Utah Arts 2002, to showcase the work of Utah artists during the Winter Olympics.
